This week, we are working with The Green Witch Tarot, created by Ann Moura with the cards illustrated by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard and the three cards drawn randomly from the deck today were: The Horned God, Three of Wands, Eight of Wands

The three cards from the Green Witch Tarot by Ann Moura and Kiri Ostergaard

So we have all fire cards meaning lots of intense energy around some of you today. Just be careful that this fire energy doesn’t turn explosive so be wary of situations that could have the potential to escalate.

Apart from that, we have a nice group of cards today, the first one being The Horned God, the equivalent of The Emperor. I love this depiction of The Horned God, surrounded by the animals. We usually see the Emperor card is a stern and non-nonsense kind of guy. This fellow seems warmer, more approachable – though he is still in charge.

Here he rules the forest but kindly and benevolently, as suggested by the willingness of the animals to be so close to him, to touch him. He’s about control but with the proper use of power – about exercising authority in productive or positive ways. If any of you are in a position of authority, then this card reminds you to rule over others like you would have them rule over you. This can pertain to any situation where you’re in charge or where other people look up to you – even a parent/child situation.

Use the personal power of The Horned God today to made headway on any projects or goals in your life. This is supported by our next card, the Three of Wands, a card of action and putting plans in motion. It’s about success, about initiative paying off and growth as a result of self-confidence and hard work. It’s a card of manifested will.

Been thinking about dipping your toes in the entrepreneurial waters? Today might be a good day to test the waters. In this card, we see depicted the profits from a successful trading endeavor, suggesting success in ventures if you apply yourself. There’s some great energy with these two cards, if you channel that energy towards achieving your goals.

Of course, it will take work on your part, as suggested by our last card, the Eight of Wands. The Eight of Wands is a card of movement, often of a swift nature so you may find yourself needing to move quickly today in order to take advantage of a situation. It can also relate to news or messages coming and going so keep your eyes & ears open.

With all this coming and going today, I do want reiterate the caution of not getting so carried away in the moment that we act rashly. With all this fire energy today, it’s a possibility. But for the most part, things can begin to move for you today today as long as you’re willing to give them a helping hand.

Now the message for these three cards is:

“An inch of movement will bring you closer to your goals than a mile of good intentions. While good intentions are important, positive actions are what truly matter.”

So today’s advice card comes from The Symbolon Deck and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: The Actor.

Actor card from the Symbolon Deck

When I first turned over this card, I thought it was yet another depiction of Emperor, the first card in our draw but in this deck, this particular image portrays an actor on the stage. The thought of “fake it till you make it” popped into my head upon seeing this image. Whether your successful yet or not, one way to get there is by playing the role. If you want to be a successful businessperson, then get on the stage and act like one. Keep a regular hours, maintain a calendar, create processes, purchases bookkeeping software – in other words, even if you don’t feel like a successful entrepreneur, act like one. Oftentimes, it’s our actions that lead to our success, not our circumstances.

That’s your Daily Tarot Map for today. Brightest Blessings!
