Today, we continue our work with the [Japaridze Tarot] by Nino Japaridze.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Japaridze Tarot today were: 9 of Fire, 6 of Winds, 4 of Tides

The three cards from the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze

The first card in our draw today is the 9 of Fire, in which we see two gladiators in the midst of battle in what appears to be a coliseum, perhaps filled with spectators. This tells me that some of you might be exhausted or at your wits end from a project or from an especially trying and stressful period of your lives. This card’s appearance is a nudge for us to keep going, no matter how tired we are. Being the 9 of the suit, tells us that we’re 90% there. We don’t want to give in when we’re so close.

This idea is continued with our next card, the 6 of Winds, in which we see a person with wings soaring over the landscape. Now what’s interesting here, is that the landscape on one side of the river appears rough and barren, while the other is green and lush. It’s also important to note that the person is moving away from the brown, barren landscape and heading towards the green, lush side of the river. This card often has the meaning of moving from a difficult time of your life to a calmer, more serene period. It’s about putting our troubles behind us and finding our peace of mind.

Again, at this point you still might be exhausted or frustrated and close to throwing in the towel. This is the most difficult part of the battle – to keep going when we want to give up. This is the point where so many of us lose our momentum. I’ve found that no matter what project I’ve started and no matter how excited I was about it initially, there comes a point where I wonder whether it’s worth it to continue. Maybe we become burned out or a project turns out to be more difficult than we’d imagined. Whatever it might be, I see today’s cards as urging us to hang on a little bit longer.

Now in our last card, we see a couple in a boat, back to back, refusing to look at each other. This is typically a card of dissatisfaction, of perhaps things not turning out the way we had hoped. Of course, rarely do things turn out exactly as we had envisioned and we often end up a tad disillusioned at the other end. I see this card as perhaps asking us to stop and think about the endeavor we’ve taken on.

Though we might have lost our enthusiasm for it, we need to ask ourselves why. It it because it’s turned out more challenging than we thought it would be? Have we perhaps become distracted by something new and shiny (which happens a lot of us in this rapidly changing Information Age) or have we truly outgrown what it is we initially hoped to accomplish?

Sometimes, we may truly need to walk away from something but often, we’ve simply just reached an extra tough hurdle that we have to overcome. Often, it helps to consider all of the hard work and effort we’ve already put in. Do you really want to quit now?

So the message today for these three cards is:

Too many projects are abandoned right before crossing the finish line. If a project is wearing you down, it often helps to remember just how much you’ve already accomplished and how far you’ve come.

So today’s advice card comes from the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: The Arrow Master

Arrow master

The Arrow Master, I think, supports perfectly the theme of today’s reading. It’s a reminder for us not to lose sight of our aim, of our ultimate goal. Keeping your eye on the prize and reminding yourself why you took on this endeavor can help us to make to the end, in spite of the obstacles. Like the archer in this image, keep your focus on your goal and try to remember and feel those emotions you initially experienced when you declared your intention to take this on. This might give you that extra push to cross the finish line.

That’s your Daily Tarot Map for today. Brightest Blessings!

Today, we continue our work with the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Japaridze Tarot today were: 10 of Tides, Jester of Fire, 10 of Winds

The three cards from the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze

The first card in our draw today is the 10 of Tides, the equivalent of the 10 of Cups. This card is usually associated with happiness, joy, contentment and satisfaction. It’s a card of fulfillment – of unconditional love. You may have noticed that I said “usually”.

That’s because this water card is ill-dignified by the fire card next to it, which is the Jester of Fire, the equivalent of the Page of Wands. The thing that immediately popped into my head was the phrase “playing with fire” which is exactly what our Jester is doing in this image.

Given that he is causing our happiness card to be poorly aspected, suggests to me that there may be someone around you today – or in your life – who is causing you distress.

This person may not have your best interests at heart and I see him or her as sort of an instigator, maybe even a bully of sorts. The fire in his hand suggests that you may have already been burnt by this person.

Now this person may not have malicious intent, they may be simply out for attention. Or they may simply be a jerk. There are plenty of those out there. Whatever their reasoning, today’s card seem to want you to be aware of this and so you may wish to deal with it in an appropriate manner.

Now our last card is the 10 of Winds, the equivalent of the 10 of Swords, in which we see bats roosting in a tree as the sun rises in the background. Given that this card is numbered 10, the second 10 in this draw, tells me that it’s time to bring this matter to a close.

If this person’s behavior is not dealt with appropriately – and perhaps brought to the attention of anyone else involved – then the situation may escalate.

Now this may not even be in regards to a person per se but to a dicey situation in general. Whatever it is, today’s cards seem to be advising you bring it to a close now in order to avoid more emotional stress down the road.

So the message today for these three cards is:

Rude or malicious behavior can dampen the mood of everyone around. It may need to be dealt with in order to restore calm to the environment.

So today’s advice card comes from the Enchanted Map Oracle by Collette Baron-Reid and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: Golden Palace

Golden palace from the Enchanted Map Oracle

I like the appearance of the beautiful Golden Palace card here today. I see this card illustrating our immediate environment or at least our idea of the ideal environment. If your normally peaceful atmosphere is being disturbed or disrupted by the person or situation mentioned above, then this card is to let you know that peace can be restored. If there is something amiss in your palace today, then it might behoove you to no longer ignore it. You may need to take action to restore the peace.

That’s your Daily Tarot Map for today. Brightest Blessings!

Today, we continue our work with the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Japaridze Tarot today were: 2 of Tides, Queen of Tides, Six of Gardens

The three cards from the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze

We have a lovely card to start out our day today, the Two of Tides. If you remember, the suit of Tides is the equivalent to the Cups. I love the image of the two wolves in this card. This is about love, harmony and partnerships. It’s about making powerful connections with people.

This could be at work, at home or even socially and is about enjoying all that life has to offer with others. If you’ve been thinking of asking out someone that you fancy or starting a partnership of any kind, today might be a good day to give it a go. At the very least, I see this card as advising that you get out socially and enjoy yourself. It’s easy to turn into a hermit during the winter months so we want to make sure that we connect with others as much as possible.

This idea of emotion and connection continues with our next card, the Queen of Tides. This is another card that points to intense, potent emotions and is about allowing yourself to be pulled towards others. This doesn’t necessarily have to do with romantic feelings, though it can. In this image, the water is pouring out of the Queen’s cup, perhaps signifying the importance of letting others know how you feel.

If you’ve been thinking of saying those three little words to someone, today might be a good day to do so. But this Queen is about letting everyone in your life know how important they are to you. Even your customers might like to hear how much you value their business.

Now our last card, the Six of Gardens, is about generosity of the spirit. In this image, a woman who is walking by is being offered a bouquet of flower by someone in the doorway. The giver of the flowers is hidden, all we see is his or her hand. This card is often about giving assistance and in this case, it might refer to anonymous assistance. Is there someone in your life who could use a helping hand? At the very least, the offering of flowers supports the idea of our last card of letting people know how much they mean to you. A bouquet of flowers never hurts.

It’s interesting to note that in the spread, the Queen of Tides is so focused on our last card that she’s inadvertently spilled the water from her cup. I see this as stressing the importance of the message here today – that make even the smallest of gestures today could mean the world to someone.

So the message today for these three cards is:

Sometimes even the smallest gesture can create the hugest difference in someone’s life. Today, let those around you know how much you care.

So today’s advice card comes from the Enchanted Map Oracle by Collette Baron-Reid and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: Stuck in the Mud

Stuck in the mud from the Enchanted Map Oracle

I like this card in light of today’s reading. We’re all so damned busy that we rush through life hardly noticing the people around us – hardly paying attention to the people who we claim mean so much to us. This card is a reminder to stop and observe. Are we ignoring the people in our life, perhaps taking them for granted? It’s been said that many of us really know just how much we care for someone only after they’re gone. Let’s not wait until they’re gone to tell them how much joy they bring to our lives. Let’s do it now. Let’s do it today.

Today, we continue our work with the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Japaridze Tarot today were: 5 of Gardens, the Hierophant, The Drowned

The three cards from the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze

So the first card in our draw today is the 5 of Gardens, the equivalent of the 5 of Pentacles. This usually appears when money issues are weighing on your mind. Perhaps an unexpected expense has popped up or you may be feeling that your bills our out of control. If this resonates with you, you might want to think about ways that you can curtail spending and manage your existing bills.

With this card, also comes the message of the need to focus on your financial future, perhaps socking some money away in savings, in an emergency fund or planning for retirement.

It might be a good time to contact a professional as suggested by our second card, The Hierophant. Associated with Taurus, the Hierophant can also be related to resources and money and can often point to a professional in that field. So maybe this would be a good time to meet with a debt specialist or even a long-term financial planner to ensure that you’re on track with your goals. Now given that the 5 of Gardens and the Hierophant are both earth cards and are well-aspected next to each other, I feel that this is telling us that whatever financial difficulties or difficulties with resources you may be facing can be resolved and you can make improvements here, especially if you bring in an expert if needed.

Now our last card, The Drowned, is the equivalent of The Hanged Man. With this card, comes the idea of sacrifice, of sacrificing something now for something better down the line. So this might be putting off any major purchases that you have planned or perhaps investing a bit of money to hire on an expert. I’ve also seen this card to signify the need to put one’s affairs in order so this supports the message the past two cards.

So the message today for these three cards is:

We may have to be willing to give something up in order to attain the things we really care about. But in doing so, we create for ourselves a brighter, more secure future.

So today’s advice card comes from Wisdom of the Hidden Realms deck by Collette Baron-Reid and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: The Web Weaver

Web weaver from the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms oracle deck

The idea of cause and effect continues with our advice card. The Web Weaver can be about getting what we deserve, for good or ill. If we engage in excessive spending, they we may run into a bit of trouble later on. If we throw caution to the wind and indulge in a diet heavy in fat and sugar, then we may be facing health problems down the road.

Everything we do is connected and our actions now can affect how things turn out for us in the future. Today, we may want to see if there’s anything in our life that needs to be moderated. Listen to your intuition for clues.

Today, we continue our work with the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Japaridze Tarot today were: 4 of Winds, Stranger of Fire, Three of Winds

The three cards from the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze

The first card in today’s draw is the 4 of Winds, the equivalent of the 4 of Swords. Here we see a person seated next to a tree, eyes closed as if in contemplation. This card is associated with rest, withdrawal, a temporary retreat from the world. It often appears when we’re stressed out and exhausted or in need of healing. This could be the result of trying to take on too much at once or being pulled in too many different directions. The fact that this is a swords card speaks to me of being mentally overwhelmed.

This is further reinforced by our second card, the Stranger of Fire, which is the equivalent of the Knight of Wands card in some decks. This is another card of rushing about full steam ahead, trying to get everything done at once. This can point to being unable to get anything at all accomplished because you’re trying to do too many things at once.

So in this way, it might represent a lack of focus, leading to feelings of overwhelm and stress. Sometimes we feel so enthused about a project or goal that we rush in, often trying to take on several tasks and projects at once without proper planning.

Our passion and enthusiasm gets the best of us and we end up scattered and frustrated at the end of it.

We see this idea again in our last card, the Three of Winds, the equivalent of the 3 of Swords. This is another card of emotional upset often the result of deep disappointment. If the other two cards in this draw are any clue, I’d say that this may be a disappointment in yourself for not being able to keep everything under control.

Maybe you feel disappointment with your inability to successfully manage everything you set out to do. The most severe emotional pain that we experience is often that which we inflict upon ourselves. We are our own worse critic.

So I really see a need here to pull back a bit and prioritize. I think we saw this idea come up last week and it still appears to hold true today. We need to remember that we can’t do it all and we shouldn’t chastise ourselves when we’re unable to meet our overzealous expectations. So today, take a breather and spend some time planning.

With two air cards flanking a fire card, I’m seeing a situation that could turn almost explosive, or at the very least extremely disheartening. Over-extending ourselves can lead to burnout, illness or to a blow-up with those people around us. Taking a slow, steady and well-thought out approach often turns out better than a rash and rushed one.

So the message today for these three cards is:

“Passion can often lead to us feeling overwhelmed, stressed and burdened. A carefully well-planned out approach may result in a more successful outcome.”

So today’s advice card comes from Wisdom of the Hidden Realms deck by Collette Baron-Reid and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: Sisters of the Seasons

Sisters of the season from the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms oracle deck

This card fits in perfectly with the theme of today’s draw. The Sisters of the Seasons cards reminds us that everything comes into fruition in its own time. Trying to impatiently rush things along and take shortcuts may backfire on us and prevent us from succeeding. Instead, we want to move ahead – with focus and determination – all allow things to naturally unfold.

Today, we begin working with a new deck for the coming week and that deck is the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Japaridze Tarot today were: Jester of Tides [ID], Ace of Fire, Jester of Fire

The three cards from the Japaridze Tarot by Nino Japaridze

We have a heavy influence of fire today which is a great start to a week, although it’s not so great for our first card, the dreamy Jester of Tides, which is the equivalent of the Page or Princess of Cups. This is the card of the dreamer – a card of emotions and of the romantic. He or she is the daydreamer in the deck. But this card is ill-dignified by the Ace of Fire card next to it so we see instead a call to action. As much as we’d like to spend our Sunday curled up with a book or watching reruns of A Game of Thrones on TV, there are things to be done and plans to be made.

Remember that goal list you created at the beginning of the year? Today would be a good day to make some progress on it. In it’s ill-dignified state, the Page of Cups perhaps warns us of not taking a sufficient amount of action. All our grandiose plans will come to nothing if we don’t move on them. I also sometimes see this card as a warning against distractions. The Page of Cups is enamored by everything and everyone. He likes “shiny”. So this may be a recommendation to narrow down your focus a bit.

And that’s exactly the message of our second card, the Ace of Fire, the equivalent of the Ace of Wands or Staves. The Aces are all about potential. They are the seed that we have to plant. This Ace is that initial spark that can set you down an exciting path or adventure. Now the fire is damped a bit by the water card to it’s left but the fire card to it’s right helps to pump it up. This tells me that the will, the desire maybe even the passion is there but it’s going to take come focused effort on your part to get it off the ground. Now this could be in regards to getting up and running with a new business, a new creative venture such as a novel or art or even a new relationship, as the Fire suit is about passion…or even lust.

In our last card, the Jester of Fire, which is the equivalent of the Page or Princess of Wands. our figure holds the fire in his hand. This card is about the desire for change and that’s where any new endeavor begins: with desire. Our Jester advises us to take the spark we saw with the Ace of Fire and feed it so that it grows. Both the Ace and the Page are both cards signifying beginnings so many of you are at the beginning stages of project or creative venture. This last card suggests that you can make it happen and might urge you to take the risk and the initiative – and put your ideas into action. It’s about trying something new and might lead to some interesting growth.

This is a great group of cards to have for the beginning of your week and I see them as laying out a challenge before you. Are you ready to take up that challenge?

So the message today for these three cards is:

“Passion, energy and enthusiasm run hot today. Use that energy to brings your ideas, plans and goals into reality.”

So today’s advice card comes from Wisdom of the Hidden Realms deck by Collette Baron-Reid and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: The Cosmos

Cosmos from the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms oracle deck

What a lovely card to have in support of today’s draw. The Cosmos card is about opening yourself up to creativity and possibility, exactly what we saw with the cards in today’s reading. The moon shining down the town can very well represent co-creation with the divine or with the universe. It’s been said that the universe often conspires in our favor and I see this idea represented strongly here.

As we take action on our goals, the potential realization of our projects grows more likely and more vast. This is a card of enormous possibility as long you’re willing to pick up the gauntlet, accept the challenge and charge forward.

Today, we conclude our work with the Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso as tomorrow, we begin working with a new deck for the coming week.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Crystal Visions Tarot today were: 2 of Pentacles [ID], 3 of Swords, Seven of Wands

The three cards from the Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso

The first card is our draw is the 2 of Pentacles, which typically points to juggling several different tasks or options at once to maintain order. However, this card is ill-dignified by the air card next to it so rather than being able to successfully maneuver these things, you may instead be having a rather tough time of it.

It can point to being spread too thin and feeling that you simply cannot manage the situation much longer. Maybe your boss is having you work 70 hour weeks or you’re using your MasterCard to pay your Visa. You know, this card can often point to the inability to keep your feet on the ground in regards to finances. So maybe those Christmas bills have finally made an appearance in your mailbox.

The result of all this: is stress, possibly even feelings of loss or failure, as suggested by the second card in our draw, the 3 of Swords. This is typically an unwelcome card in a reading as it can signify sadness, heartbreak or painful emotions. The feelings of overwhelm that many of you may be experiencing could certainly lead to the darker emotions we see associated with this card.

This can lead to brooding, anger, bitterness and feeling sorry for ourself which never helps in such matters. I find that the more we dwell on our troubles and what we perceive to be our failure, the deeper the knife digs into our chest.

So a recommended plan of action is nicely depicted in our last card, the 7 of Wands in which we see a figure atop of a dragon, facing six blazing wands below. Though it looks like our hero is outnumbered, he or she is actually in an advantageous position. She in above them and is riding a dragon.

So what I’m seeing here is the need to not let your situation overwhelm you but instead, get back in the game. Rather than try to take on everything at once, it’s often best to fight one battle at a time. That is to say, put your attention on only one area of your responsibilities that’s causing you stress and give your full attention to it.

Once that’s been managed, move on to the next. Yes, you may have to let some things go for now, causing you to scramble to catch up later on, but that’ something we all have to face from time to time. What’s key here I think, is that you don’t let the situation control you but rather you take control of the situation.

So the message today for these three cards is:

“You may not be able to prevent the storms from coming but you can determine how much and how long they’ll affect you. Putting your attention on one battle one at a time can put you in an advantageous position.”

So today’s advice card comes from The Symbolon Deck and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: Disagreement

Disagreement card from the Symbolon Deck

Well, this card certainly is relevant today in light of the three cards we’ve just seen. Much like the first two cards in our reading, the disagreement card is about disharmony, clash, stress and being off-kilter. The Disagreement card doesn’t necessarily even pertain to person but could suggest a situation that is causing your grief and upset.

I think the same advice applies here: find what it is that’s causing you the most grief and put you attention on that until it is back in your control. Then, move on to the next. You also may find that open, truthful conversation may work in your favor and may even give the extra time you need.

Today, we continue our work with the Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Crystal Visions Tarot today were: King of Wands, 9 of Pentacles, High Priestess

The three cards from the Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso

Yesterday, we saw a female lion with the Queen of Wands and today, we see a large male lion with the King of Wands, the first card in our draw today. He’s about inspiration and your ability to think big. Given that he’s a king, he’s associated with power but with the kind of power that comes from being daring, creative, energetic and a visionary. So what I’m seeing here is a need to expand your goals. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and to venture into something different for you – something perhaps that you normally wouldn’t try.

So our next card, the 9 of Pentacles suggests that you are making progress on your goals but there’s still more to do, perhaps that which we mentioned with our last card. We see yet another cat in this card, this time a beautiful tiger, another animal of power. She appears to be petting the animal, perhaps advising us to find and use our own personal power.

The 9 of Pentacles lets us know that success is attainable, that you can bring more abundance into your life but it will entail a sacrifice on your part, an idea we often see with this card. Nothing comes without effort so in this way, this card recommends self-discipline and self-control if you’re to reach your goals. But you also need to celebrate the fact that you’ve already come a long way. We sometimes forget all that we’ve accomplished and done so be careful not to retreat now, especially from those new ideas or new inklings that may have popped up, as we mentioned with the King of Wands.

If you’re feeling at all hesitant, listen to what your intuition is telling you, as suggested by the last card, The High Priestess, a card of reflection and listening to what your gut or your unconscious is telling you. Pay extra attention to your dreams or to any hunches or flashes of insight that may occur to you during the day. These often provide clues on which way to proceed and if they support those ideas or goals we mentioned earlier, then they may be worth of serious consideration.

So the message today for these three cards is:

Trust your hunches as our instincts often outsmart our brain. The most life-changing and decisive actions in our life are often unconsidered actions.

So today’s advice card comes from The Symbolon Deck and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: The Garden of Spirits

Garden of spirits card from the Symbolon Deck

I think this card supports nicely the idea of our intuition and unconscious mind working behind the scenes to bring us information. This could be us tapping into the collective unconscious as discussed by Carl G Jung or something else entirely. But wherever it stems from, those nudges, flashes and dreams might point the way to a new path for us, maybe even leading to something really big.

Like the woman in the image, today might be the day to plant the tiny tree that will grow into a forest later on.

Today, we continue our work with the Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso.

So the three cards drawn randomly from the Crystal Visions Tarot today were: Queen of Wands, The Lovers, 7 of Swords

The three cards from the Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso

The first card in our draw today is the Queen of Wands, a powerful card of will and determination. She’s depicted here with a lion, a symbol of power and strength, reminiscent of the Strength card in the Major Arcana. This is a card of energy and and will, often representing someone who’s larger than life. With strong focus, she soars in whatever she does, much like the eagle flying overhead. Her razor-like focus assists her in achieving whatever she sets out to do. I often see this card as the archetypal career person.

Sometimes however, she gets so caught up in ambition that she may neglect her loved ones. The Lovers card, the second card in our draw, depicts a couple in an embrace, being tied together by two doves flying overhead.

Now given that the Lovers card is ruled by Gemini, it can often point to a need for communication in a relationship. Because it’s situated next to the driven and high-energetic Queen of Wands makes me think that some of you may be so focused on your work, goals or career that may have been neglecting the people in your life. There may even be a decision that you’ve been contemplating but have neglected to discuss it with your spouse, partner or family.

When we’re wrapped up in our work, talking about what we’re doing may not even cross our mind. However, to others, it may come across as being tricky, sneaky or even deceitful as suggested by our last card, the 7 of Swords.

Here we see a winged-figure trying to protect his or her swords from the crows that are stealing them. We’ve already seen this card once this week and if you remember, it points to deception and sneakiness. Making decisions without communicating to those closest to you can result in them seeing you as underhanded or otherwise untrustworthy. Their natural instinct may be opposition, once they find out what you’re up to.

Now this isn’t necessarily even in regards to your personal life but it could pertain your business life as well, especially if you’re in a leadership position. Given that we have two air cards, both which are associated with communication, the message I’m seeing from these cards is to keep the lines of communication open today. People are more likely to back you when they know what your intentions are.

So the message today for these three cards is:

Many problems in our life are due to a lack of communication. Keeping communication open between yourself and those closest to you can often avoid these misunderstandings.

So today’s advice card comes from The Symbolon Deck and the card drawn randomly from the deck was: Ice Queen

Ice queen http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0880797258/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0880797258&linkCode=as2&tag=bloofroghyt-20&linkId=SB3B4HIC2A7X7ZWF

Interesting card in light of today’s draw. So the Ice Queen represents someone who may come across as distant, cold or even unfeeling. The figure is this card is all alone, with a single icy tear rolling down her cheek. This kind of makes me think of the Queen of Wands card that we saw at the beginning of our spread today. Accomplishment is a wonderful thing but it’s not so great when it’s at the expense of others or not communicated clearly to others. Secrecy can lead to pain.

The Ice Queen suggests that it may be time to get something off of your mind, something that my have been weighing you down or even causing you guilt or regret. Once we bring in others, the load immediately begins to lighten.
