Using the Tarot for Creativity and Empowerment

Tarot Financial Abundance Experiment: Day 10

Deck: The Wizard’s Tarot
This post is part of my 45 Experiment:  Using the daily tarot draw to bring more financial abundance into our life. I will be using the Wizard’s Tarot by Corrine Kenner and John J. Bluemen for this experiment’s deck.

Day 10: What can I do to bring more financial abundance into my life?

The High Priestess

High priestess card from the Wizards Tarot image

Today’s card features the professor of divination in the process of doing a reading. So that is the first thing that comes to mind: Do a spread today and look for ideas on how to bring more financial abundance in your life. Sometimes laying out an entire spread will give you some ideas.

Okay, I’ll admit: that’s a bit of a cop-out . But what this card may be telling you is that you might be at the level of your studies where you, yourself can make some extra money doing readings, whether it be tarot, astrology or psychic readings (depending on your ability, of course). Have you thought about writing a daily or weekly astrology column? How about learning hypnosis or past life regression? Learning how to do Reiki and setting up a Reiki side business performing and/or teaching Reiki can bring in some money as well.

When was the last time you had a tarot or psychic reading? Maybe it’s time to get one. A third party might be able to see potentials and possibilities in us that we are unaware of. They might also be able to point us in a new direction and provide a different perspective on or financial or career situation.

The High Priestess is often related to inner secrets and mysteries so you might want to spend some time meditating today. Look within yourself for some answers. Very often, we get illuminating responses to our questions during the quiet time of meditation. Taking a physical retreat can also be a helpful thing to do. Spend some time alone – maybe a weekend if possible – and use it for creative brainstorming. Sometimes a few days away can provide us with a different perspective on a situation.

This card might be simply telling you to slow down for a bit and take inventory of where you are. Can you make any changes to the way you do things? Listen to what your intuition is telling you. Often by listening to that tiny voice within us, we can discover hidden potentials that we have yet to discover. Do you have ideas for a new business or creative project? Today, allow your intuition to speak and take note of what it is telling you. It might be time to risk trying something new.

As the Moon rules cancer, you might wish to explore careers/work involving children, mothers or the home. A school teacher? Would it be feasible to run a day care center out of your home? Careers involving the home ( such as a home-based business, landscaping, home decorator, etc.) are also a possibility.

The High Priestess card is tied to the moon and to the element of water. So how about doing moonlight cruises? Moonlight walking/bicycling tours? Being that the Moon is often associated with Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt working with animals in any aspect – zookeeper, dog walking, pet sitting business, vet, or pet groomer would be worth of consideration.
