Tarot Financial Abundance Experiment: Day 11

Deck: The Wizard’s Tarot

This post is part of my 45 Experiment:  Using the daily tarot draw to bring more financial abundance into our life. I will be using the Wizard’s Tarot by Corrine Kenner and John J. Bluemen for this experiment’s deck.

Day 11: What can I do to bring more financial abundance into my life?

Three of Swords

3 of Swords from the Wizards Tarot

The 3 of Swords typically is not the most welcome of cards when it appears in a reading as it often signifies heartbreak, pain, or sorrow.  As an “action to be taken” card however, it may signify the need to acknowledge past pain or disappointments and then move past them.

Very often, we hold ourselves back because of fear – fear of taking risks or fear of failing (especially if there have been past failures). Thus, we need to let go of those ideas and fear that bring us anguish and force ourself to move past them.  The rain (or is it tears?) pouring down in this card reminds us that such forced growth initially may bring pain and suffering as we step outside of our comfort zone. So what we need to do, is to remove the emotional drama that our mind has a tendency to create and instead, take new risks.  That is to say, stop focusing on the “worst case scenario.”  So what if we fail?  We have to remember that by not taking the risk, we shall never know if I could have succeeded.

So let today be a time for acknowledging our pain – knowing that taking risks will indeed cause us some discomfort (or the future possibility thereof) – and then move on.  Let us remember that pain helps us grow but fear and avoidance of pain (read: failure) keeps us stuck in the same place – a place where no growth is possible.  By taking risks – even though there is a risk of failure – we increase the possibility of new successful ventures.

Let’s now look at this card on more practical terms. If we consider this card astrologically, we see that it is ruled by Libra (which also rules the Justice card). The sign of Libra tends to produce excellent leaders so an entrepreneurial situation would work out great. They also excel at sales or public relations so consider any position where you are out dealing directly with clients and/or in the public eye. On the same note, another desirable position, using the energy of Libra, would be any type of counseling position. They have the ability to use the Scales of Justice to listen and evaluate both sides of a situation. Additionally, they make excellent teachers as well. Tied in with 3 of swords, I could easily see a career in relationship counseling or a grief counselor.

The sign of Libra also favors careers in art, decorating, or the theater so if you have a penchant for any of these, it’s definitely worth exploring.

So while the 3 of Swords is a card of heartbreak and suffering, by diving in a bit deeper, we can see that there is indeed so good advice on how to possibly bring financial abundance into our lives.
