Tarot Financial Abundance Experiment: Day 22

Deck: The Wizard’s Tarot

This post is part of my 45 Experiment:  Using the daily tarot draw to bring more financial abundance into our life. I will be using the Wizards Tarot by Corrine Kenner and John J. Bluemen for this experiment’s deck.

Day 22: What can I do to bring more financial abundance into my life?

Nine of Wands

9 of Wands from the Wizards Tarot image

In this card, we have a young woman who is holding a torch (or a lit wand), guarding her territory.  This card often speaks to me of “finding the strength to go on.”  I see the 9 of Wands as suggesting that you might be called upon to defend your position – also reminding you to NOT allow others to determine YOUR life’s course.

To me, this card also suggests the need for discipline (a constant struggle of mine) and finding our own personal power.  No matter how tired, frustrated or beaten up by life we may become, we need to take a breath and find the stamina to continue forward. It is interesting to note however, that the warrior in this card is not actively engaged in battle, but rather she is standing quietly, perhaps focusing on gathering up her hidden energy reserves.

Sometimes we feel a tad overwhelmed by everything we have to do in our busy lives.  So today, I see this card as telling us to take it slowly as we wade through our to do list – but also reminding us to find the power and discipline within ourself to keep moving forward.  Funny – I was thinking of taking on a new project and all of a sudden, I glanced at this card and thought “don’t take on projects that will tax your strength” – especially with the holidays upon us.  Thus, I have more of a chance of increasing financial abundance is I don’t stretch myself too thin.  This way, I can give the appropriate amount of attention to growing my current business.

Astrologically, the 9 of Wands is associated with Sagittarius, the Archer. Photography is often associated with this sign of perhaps think about how to incorporate pictures into your business offerings. Or you might want to become a professional photographer yourself. There is definitely money to be made as a Wedding Photographer or even a products photographer.

Jobs/occupations for the Nine of Wands: Prison guard, security guard, travel photographer, foreign relations, archery teacher, defense attorney, judge, stock market player, travel agent, wedding photographer, travel journalist, minster/officiant, mediator/arbiter, union steward, professional clown, soldier, night watchman, insurance salesman/arbitrator, physical therapist, airplane pilot, motorcycle racer
