Deck: The Wizard’s Tarot This post is part of my 45 Experiment: Using the daily tarot draw to bring more financial abundance into our life. I will be using the Wizard’s Tarot by Corrine Kenner and John J. Bluemen for this experiment’s deck.
Day 24: What can I do to bring more financial abundance into my life?
Ah – a great day to play the slots!
When I see the Wheel of Fortune card, I often think of change. This could be changes that I need to make in my life or the card my simply be telling me that changes are coming and I need to prepare myself for them. But whatever the case, The Wheel indicates movement of some kind. After the long holiday weekend, this card may just be telling me today that it’s time to get back to work!
In an advice situation such as this experiment though, I see this card as advising us that the preparatory stages are over and it is now time to get “the wheel in motion.” This is especially true if we have recently experienced obstacles or setbacks (like yesterday’s 5 of Cups card). Our first instinct is often to sit tight and weather out the storm. Sometimes we get caught in a rut however, and rather than picking ourselves back up, we end up digging in our heels and getting stuck in a rut.
So today, take some concrete action, to get things moving again, to get the wheel of progress to turn once again — something to bring me closer to your goal.
So in accepting that The Wheel of Fortune card represents movement and change, we need to keep in mind that in order for things to change – for our situation to change, there has to be movement of some sort. There is a saying, “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” If we want to move forward in our life or if we want to find ourselves in a different situation, then we need to do something that is different from what we’re already doing. We have to do something new. We have to create something different.
Thus, if we wish to bring more financial abundance into our lives, we have to take action, do things differently. So, I shall make it my goal each day be to do at least one thing different than the day before. For without action of some sort, I will end up staying in exactly the same place.
Oh…and don’t forget to buy a lottery ticket today!
