Tarot Financial Abundance Experiment: Day 39

Deck: The Wizard’s Tarot
This post is part of my 45 Experiment:  Using the daily tarot draw to bring more financial abundance into our life. I will be using the Wizard’s Tarot by Corrine Kenner and John J. Bluemen for this experiment’s deck.

Day 39: What can I do to bring more financial abundance into my life?

King of Cups

I love the depiction of Poseidon as the King of Cups – it’s perfect!  Kings are about control and the suit of cups rules over emotions.  Thus, it can be said that the King of Cups is one who rules over emotions and does not let his emotions rule over him.  This is also a king who uses a “heartfelt” style of leadership when dealing with others.  He is the epitome of the “benevolent leader” and as such, tends to be compassionate and generous in his dealing with clients and employees.  This is an excellent style of management – and one that can elevate you in the eyes of others.  If you have employees or contractors working for you, making them feel valued and appreciated can increase their productivity to you as well as their loyalty.  These are the folks that will help support you if times get challenging and will be there for you to create an abundant business.  As the King of Cups, it will be up to you to allow and help these folks to shine.  Instead of taking all the credit yourself for your successes, share them with the others who have helped or contributed to the business.

I often see the King of Cups as a sort of wise counselor.  This can be a call for you to counsel or mentor others if need be (perhaps a career in counseling is your calling?) or perhaps seek counseling yourself.  If you have a business or are thinking of starting one, the advice of an expert can often help you avoid many costly pitfalls you otherwise would have made.  If you are not yet sure what avenue career-wise you wish to follow, a counseling session – or even a Tarot reading – can point out some possibilities to you.

Lastly, the King of Cups is often associated with the arts:  writing, drawing, painting, music, drama, etc.  The card suggests to take control of your artistic side and express yourself through it.  So if you feel an affinity for this, it can be an excellent way to bring in additional income or even become a full time career if that is what you so desire.  Even engaging in an “artistic lifestyle” such as attending artistic events, sponsoring artists, etc. can open up new doors and possibilities for you.
