Using the Tarot for Creativity and Empowerment

Tarot Financial Abundance Experiment: Day 8

Deck: The Wizard’s Tarot

This post is part of my 45 Experiment:  Using the daily tarot draw to bring more financial abundance into our life. I will be using the Wizard’s Tarot by Corrine Kenner and John J. Bluemen for this experiment’s deck.

Day 8: What can I do to bring more financial abundance into my life?

King of Swords

King of Swords from the Wizard's Tarot

The King of Swords is about making decisions and acting on the promptly.  Of course, these are not haphazard decisions but rather decisions based upon logic and careful reflection.  Many times, we get stuck in a rut because we simply cannot bring ourselves to make the necessary decisions – especially those that have the potential to be life-changing.

I do keep a list of “things to consider” and today may be a good day to revisit that list and perhaps make some command decisions.  I have been also see-sawing about a couple of things so today, I will probably move forward with them – things that do have the potential to bring more income into my life. How about you?  Are there any decisions that you should or could be making? Any decisions about a project you’ve been thinking about? An idea for a new creative endeavor?

Ruled by the intellect, this King excels at such this as writing, music and communications so if you have been so perhaps creating a new project in one of these fields would be a great way to bring in some extra income. This could include podcasting or audio classes. Have you ever thought about being a comedian? Maybe a professional storyteller? Some storytellers (also called “Bards”) can make a nice chunk of change traveling to school, libraries, fairs and corporate events telling their fiction or non-fiction stories.

The King of Swords corresponds astrologically to Aquarius. Aquarius is ruled the eleventh house which corresponds to such things as social groups & social causes and technology. Aquarians also excel at any creative profession. This includes not only the arts but also marketing or running their own business. Seeing that Aquarius corresponds to the Star card in tarot, other possibilities include astronomer or working at an airlines. I often associate The Star with healing so a profession or project where you can help others – either physically or emotionally works too.

Additionally, this zodiac sign has a penchant for the latest technology so maybe providing computer classes, technology tutoring or even Web design might be a fun way to make extra cash.  Aquarius is often associated with memberships, clubs & social activities so combined with your technological skills, you could perhaps set up a membership Web site or membership blog where you offer content to monthly subscribers.  Of course, this would need to be content that people are willing to pay for.

Hope this gave you some ideas!
